Terms of Service

Social Bull is a simulator. The money is not real, nothing here is investment advice, and it is an early beta built by one person. These terms say what you can expect and what you agree to.

1. Agreeing to this

By creating an account or using Social Bull, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use it.

Social Bull is operated by one individual in the United States. There is no company behind it — no corporation and no LLC — and "Social Bull" is a product name, not a legal entity. Where these terms say we, that is who it means.

You must be 18 or over to use Social Bull.

2. What Social Bull is

We are not a broker-dealer, not an investment adviser, not a bank, and not a financial institution of any kind. We are not registered with the SEC, FINRA or any securities regulator, and no such registration is claimed. We are not a member of SIPC or FINRA, and nothing on the platform is protected by SIPC, FDIC or any other insurance.

We do not hold, receive, transfer or have custody of your money or any asset. There is no account to fund and no way to fund one.

The long-term intention is to offer real funded accounts through a partner broker-dealer. That does not exist today, there is no date for it, and nothing in these terms is a promise that it will happen.

3. Not investment advice

Nothing on Social Bull is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. That applies to everything: the screener, the terminal, the charts, indicators, backtests, Social Bull University lessons, the research assistant, and anything posted by another user.

Nothing on the platform is personalised to you, your finances or your goals, and none of it takes them into account. Decisions you make about real money are yours alone. If you want advice, speak to a licensed financial professional.

4. Backtests and simulated results

The screener can test a strategy against past data. Understand what that is and is not:

• Results are hypothetical. Nobody made those trades and nobody made that money.
• They are built with hindsight, using a list of stocks chosen knowing how things turned out.
• They do not model commissions, slippage, spreads, taxes, liquidity, borrowing costs, or the possibility that your order would not have filled at that price.
• They cannot model what you would actually have done during a drawdown, which is usually the thing that decides the outcome.

Past performance does not indicate future results. A backtest that beat the index is not evidence that the strategy will, and it is not a reason to put real money behind it.

5. Market data

Market data, fundamentals, filings, estimates and news come from third-party sources. It is provided as is, may be delayed, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or simply wrong. It is not a real-time feed and is not suitable for making real trading decisions.

We do not guarantee that any figure shown is accurate or current, and we are not responsible for errors in it or for anything you do on the strength of it. Some of it is fetched by your browser directly from the source, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. It is a beta

Social Bull is early software under active development by one person. Plainly:

• Things will break, and some of them will break in ways nobody has seen yet.
• There is no uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable, briefly or for a while.
• Features may change, be redesigned, or be removed.
• Data can be lost. Reasonable care is taken, backups are kept, and nothing is treated casually — but this is a beta and no promise is made that your data will survive. Do not keep something here that exists nowhere else.

There is a Report a Problem button in the app menu and every report gets read.

7. It is free

Social Bull costs nothing. There is no trial, no card, and no paid tier. Nothing is charged and no payment details are ever collected.

No promise is made that it stays free forever. If that ever changes you will be told before it affects you, and you will not be charged for something you did not agree to. The intention is that real funded accounts, if they arrive, are what pays for this — not charging you for the simulator.

8. Your account

• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email current so you can recover the account.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Do not use a password here that protects anything that matters elsewhere.
• One account per person. Do not create accounts to impersonate somebody, to evade a suspension, or to inflate a number.
• Tell us if you think somebody else is in your account.

9. What you post

You keep ownership of everything you post. Your posts, comments, messages, photos and videos are yours.

By posting, you grant permission to store, copy, and display that content for the purpose of running the service — showing it to the people you chose to show it to, on the screens where you put it. That permission is limited to operating Social Bull. It does not extend to advertising, to selling your content, to licensing it to anybody else, or to training any machine learning model.

You are responsible for what you post: that it is yours to post, and that posting it breaks no law and no one else's rights.

Content that breaks these terms may be removed. Because it is one person moderating, removal is not instant and not perfectly consistent — if something needs attention, report it.

When you delete your account, posts, comments and messages you sent are kept but reattributed to [deleted], for the reasons set out in the Privacy Policy. Delete individual items first if you want them gone.

10. What you may not do

Do not:

• Post anything designed to manipulate a real market — pump-and-dump promotion, coordinated ramping, or spreading information you know to be false about a security.
• Present yourself as a licensed adviser or broker when you are not, or give personalised investment advice for payment.
• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse anybody, or post hateful content targeting people for who they are.
• Post anything illegal, anything sexual involving minors, or content that violates someone's privacy or intellectual property.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Spam, run a scam, phish, or advertise a paid signal group or trading course.
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-extract data or content from the platform.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or the systems behind it. Genuine security research reported responsibly is welcome — get in touch first.
• Reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product from its data.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or generate activity.

11. Other people's content

The feed is written by other users. Their posts are their opinions, not ours, and are neither endorsed nor checked for accuracy. Somebody confidently describing a trade is not evidence that they made it, that it worked, or that it would work for you.

Treat trading claims from strangers with the scepticism they deserve, and never send money to anybody you meet here.

12. The research assistant

The research assistant is an AI feature. It can be confidently wrong, misread a figure, or invent one. Check anything that matters against the underlying source before relying on it, and treat its output as a starting point rather than an answer. It is not advice, and section 3 applies to it in full.

What it sends to Google, and the free-tier terms that apply to that, are set out in the Privacy Policy. Read that section before using it.

13. Ending it

You can leave whenever you want. Delete your account from your profile page in the app. It is immediate and permanent, and what happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that puts other users or the service at risk, or where required by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why and given a chance to respond — but for serious cases, such as harassment or an attack on the service, action may be taken first.

Social Bull itself may be discontinued. If that happens, reasonable notice will be given so you can export what is yours.

14. No warranties

Social Bull is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data or figure in it is accurate or current.

15. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or trading losses of any kind — including any decision you make about real money that was influenced by anything you saw here.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim relating to Social Bull is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100). The service is free, so this reflects what has changed hands.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Social Bull from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising out of content you post, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to claims caused by our own wrongdoing.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to Social Bull will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York, and you and we each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

If you are a consumer resident somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own local courts, nothing here takes that right away.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

18. Changes

These terms will change as the product does. The date at the top says when they last changed. For a material change you will be told in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Social Bull after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, delete your account.
